Dr. Lois Sabo-Skelton is a musician, actor, writer, and adjunct instructor at Ivy Tech Community College in Bloomington, Indiana. She serves on the MCCSC School Board as President and is an advocate for women, children, and Arts in Education. Her past performances include the “Vagina Monologues” for a Middle Way House benefit and “Judge Stevens Dissents” by James Allison for the Democracy Convention in Madison, Wisconsin. Most recently she served as Music Director for the Ivy Tech Student production of “All in the Timing” under the direction of Paul Daily. As a violinist, she has performed throughout the United States and Europe, most notably in Belgrade, Serbia, for the Roma school children, and the Prince and Princess at the White Palace. Her travels include a trip to the Auschwitz Death Camp to do research on the Women’s Orchestra at Birkenau, and is currently working on a script about the history and the experience.
